Agile Methodology: Revolutionizing Project Management
The aim of this article is to introduce the basis of the Agile methedology on project management and process development. In addition, it will be made an explanation of its principles, framework, processes, the different roles and their main tasks and duties.
Why Agile?
There has never been a time in history when the industry, demand and public needs changed so much, and so fast than nowadays.
In this increasingly demanding times is necesary to change our preconceptions and biases towards traditional project management and embrace the opportunities that methedologies like Agile and Lean enable.
Initially conceived for software development, Agile arises as a new way of framing and conducting the processes involved in product development. The aim is to solve the challenges and limitations of traditional development.
But, for achieving Agile’s goals and truly accepting this new framework, it is necessary for the adopters to “unlearn” preconceptions about project management. This won’t be an easy task and the next video, reflects a similar process that must be undertaken:
